We should all be so fortunate as to have somebody who cares enough about us to be able to look past not just our runny noses and worse ailments, but the self-pity and self-absorption that can sometimes overwhelm sick people and make their company, under those conditions, so difficult to abide. Any caveats for the contagious?

what's with the picture at the top of the page? is that drew barrymore? is leilasplace actually written by drew barrymore? if so, i'd like to hear more insider stories about crazy celebrity antics and what it's like to be hooked on coke when you're eleven. also, when you were making that movie with hugh grant ("music & lyrics") did you know it was horrible while you were making it or did it take watching it and almost throwing up to make you realize what a horrible movie you had made? have you ever considered that perhaps making horrible movies is the root cause of your social anxiety? or, it could be that social situations are just more difficult to navigate when you aren't high on coke all the time (hard to be the life of the party with no "yayo in your nasal"). in which case, more power to you for staying clean! although, if that first cheezy-ass blog entry is also a product of clean living, you might consider hoovering a line or six.

Wow, you're going to have a lot of women green with envy.
Especially like the detail of flicking on the windshield wipers as you wash that unworthy man out of his girlfriend's life.

Are you sure this is really your first post? It seems much too good for that. I especially liked the part about the calculators, and any Edgar Allan Poe reference always makes me happy. I can't wait to see what you write about next.
